In this one day woodworking class, novice woodworkers will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of working with power tools. Students will be introduced to a variety of power tools including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns, as well as safety guidelines for working with each tool. The class will be taught by an experienced woodworker who will guide students through hands-on projects, such as creating a raised planter bed or building an Adirondack chair, using power tools to make precise cuts and finishes. This course is designed for beginners who have little to no experience with woodworking and want to gain a solid foundation in working with power tools. By the end of the class, students will leave with a sense of confidence in their woodworking skills and the knowledge to start their own projects at home.
